Senior/Principal Scientist, Mass Spectrometry - Kentucky

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Sample preparation/extraction
  • Analysis of various matrices for traces of drugs and/or drug metabolites
  • Record keeping in compliance with ISO and GLP/GCP regulations
  • Optimization, development and validation of novel analytical methods
  • Preparation of study plans and reports
Qualifications: 

Key requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Chemistry / Forensics or related science (M.S. in related discipline desired for Principal)
  • 2years+ post degree work experience with LC-MS and/or GC-MS (familiarity with Thermo/AB Sciex LC/MS & Agilent GC/MS a plus!)
  • Skilled in LC-MS and/or GC-MS method development & troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of ISO and/or GLP sample handling and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and inquisitive nature
