Sorenson Genomics, a leader in DNA testing, is seeking a Laboratory Manager to manage daily functions, ensure processes and review data quality for our relationship testing lab.
Duties for this position include but are not limited to the review of relationship testing casework and associated genetic data, directing the laboratory regarding data quality concerns and improvements, consulting with clients regarding case results and interpretation, managing laboratory staff and working closely with all areas of the casework. LEAN Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt experience and/or certification a plus. The successful candidate will be proficient in basic statistical methods and computer-based technologies and will have a firm understanding of the underlying principles of human genetics and molecular biological methods.
