Latent Print Technicians will process a wide range of complex forensic material associated with IEDs.
• There is an immediate need for multiple positions. Estimated start date is 60-90 days.

 

 

 

Candidate responsibilities:
• Technicians will recognize and aid in recovery of Latent Prints on evidence.
• Technicians will receive materials submitted to the laboratory for processing and prepare boxes for return shipment.
• Technicians will be responsible for maintaining inventory database of evidentiary items and chain of custody.
• Technicians will conduct and report the results of forensic technical exploitation as well as perform the associated ancillary and administrative tasks.

Must have: • Associates degree from an accredited university/college or H.S diploma and equivalent work experience. Two years experience equivalent to one year post-secondary education. • At least one year experience as an Identification or Latent Print Technician.• Highly developed professional skills and have considerable flexibility in completing work assignments.    Will Be Required to: • Successfully complete and pass training requirements and competency test within the time period set forth.• Possess excellent communications skills, both oral and written.• Plan and organize tasks effectively, independently and as a team member. Required: Secret Desired: Top Secret
