2013 International Educational Outreach (IEOP) - China

The Peoples Republic of China is the 2013 destination for the AAFS International Education Outreach Program (IEOP) Participants can expect eight days immersed in the country’s history and culture while, at the same time, connecting with colleagues from the Peoples Republic of China.

President Barry K. Logan in cooperation with the Institute of Forensic Science in Beijing has been busy working out the details of the program. The group will participate in a comprehensive forensic symposium organized by the Institute of Forensic Science in Beijing and meet with colleagues from the Xi'an Jiaotong University and Police Laboratory.  The Great Wall, Ming Tombs, the Sacred Way, the Forbidden City, and the Terracotta Warriors are just a few of the cultural sites scheduled.  Program stops will include Beijing, Xi’an, Chengdu, and Shanghai.
