Washington Marriott Wardman Park

Washington, DC 20008 USA

International attendees add greatly to the AAFS Annual Scientific Meeting.  If you do not live in the United States and wish to attend the AAFS Annual Scientific Meeting, you may need to secure a Nonimmigrant Visa.  Advance travel planning and early visa application are important, since visa applications are subject to a greater degree of scrutiny than in the past.

If you determine that you need to apply for a Nonimmigrant Visa and your United States Consulate or Embassy office requires a letter of invitation, please contact Tracie McCray (719-636-1100).  All Letters of Invitation will be mailed via First Class/Airmail and emailed to the requester.  Due to the lengthy Visa issuance process (sometimes longer than three months), you should request the Letter of Invitation as soon as you decide to attend the AAFS Annual Meeting.

The AAFS administrative office is unable to assist in any matters relating to visa issuance procedures other than to mail Letters of Invitation.  If you have specific questions, please visit the websites listed below or contact your local United States Consulate or Embassy.
