Young Forensic Scientists Forum Newsletter - January 2001 Come On -- We Know You All Have Them! |
| The YFSF is geared towards those in the field with five years or less of actual work experience. That essentially makes it a forum of beginners. As with anyone embarking upon anything new mistakes are bound to happen, some of which could be quite embarrassing. The YFSF looks at things a little differently. To us, those embarrassing moments are viewed as opportunities of, well… what we like to call Personal Growth Moments. They are the little things, maybe few and far between, or maybe just the opposite, that make you think, "I should have known better than that," or "What was I thinking?" The Forum would like to hear about it. If you have an "On the Job Personal Growth Moment," please e-mail it to
Ken Williams at ken25@gateway.net. Your submission may be chosen to appear in a future newsletter. This is one way to help those who may follow you in the field by letting them know exactly what not to do. Get those embarrassing moments together and send them. The Forum looks forward to laughing at (we mean with) you soon. |
