Editor's Notes - July 2002 |
| As the days get longer and the weather gets nicer, the members of the Young Forensic Scientists Forum are thinking forward to February, cold days and windy nights in Chicago.
Claire Shepard, Sheila Estacio, Chairman Ken Williams, and myself are hard at work planning another successful Special Session for the 2003 Annual Meeting. Though February may seem far away, deadlines are fast approaching and we would all like to get your input on how our next meeting can be even more successful. Please let us know what you would like to see, who you would like to hear speak and what is most important to you. You can contact
Ken Williams at LPPWILLC@gw.njsp.org
or Amy Price at aprice@dfs.state.va.us
with any comments or suggestions. In this issue, you will find an exciting announcement about your possible chance to win free Special Session registration as well as articles about finding internship opportunities and seeking an education in forensic science. As always, I am eagerly seeking submissions to the newsletter. If feel your experiences could help someone just starting in the field or if you would like to pass on some advice that could help someone at any stage in his/her career, please send your submissions to Amy Price at the above email address. |
