Young Forensic Scientists Forum Newsletter - May/June 2001 Call
For Input! Personal Growth Moments |
| The YFSF is geared towards those in the field with five years or less of actual work experience. That essentially makes it a forum of beginners. As with anyone embarking upon anything new, mistakes are bound to happen, some of which could be quite embarrassing. The forum looks at things a little differently. To us, those embarrassing moments are viewed as opportunities of, well… what we like to call PERSONAL GROWTH MOMENTS. They are the little things, maybe few and far between, or maybe just the opposite, that make you think, "I should have known better than that," or "what was I thinking?" The forum would like to hear about it. If you have an "On the Job Personal Growth Moment," please let us know. E-mail your "Moment" to Ken Williams at:
ken25@gateway.net The submissions will be reviewed and yours may be chosen to appear in a future issue of the newsletter. This is one way to help those who may follow you in field by letting them know exactly what not to do. So get those embarrassing moments together and send them in. The forum looks forward to laughing at — we mean with — you soon. |
