| This is a special announcement for Student members of the Physical Anthropology Section. The deadline for submissions to receive the J. Lawrence Angel Award is closing in!
Students interested in submitting an entry must have three copies of their
papers sent to the Committee Chairman, Tal Simmons, by January 18, 2001. Remember, you must be the one and only author on the project you submit. You may submit either an oral or a poster abstract for evaluation. The project must be accepted for presentation at the 2001 AAFS Annual Meeting in Seattle, WA. Each participant will receive $200 and the winner will receive a nice plaque and a monetary award. Presentation of the award will be made at the Physical Anthropology Section Business Meeting.
