Ahead: Forensic Sciences Foundation Lucas Grants |
| The Forensic Science Foundation is the research and education arm of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. To this end, the Foundation offers Lucas Grants in support of the early stages of the research of all of its members (including students and trainee affiliates). In order to apply for a Lucas Grant, please submit the following, in brief format: 1. a short (about one page) proposal of your research, 2. an estimate of the costs and the amount for which you are applying, 3. an estimate of the time in which the research will be conducted, 4. how the results will be presented, and 5. your Curriculum Vitae These materials are to be submitted to the Forensic Science Foundation Lucas Grant Committee, Dr. Diane France, Chairman, in care of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, by June 1, 2001. They will be considered in late summer of the same year. Average grants are from $300 to $500. Everyone is encouraged to apply! |
