Young Forensic Scientists Forum Newsletter - November 2002 |
| Is there an interesting forensic case that you have worked on that you love to tell your friends and colleagues about? Or have you run across an unusual case that could be educational or entertaining for others to hear? Whatever the topic may be, we would love to hear about it at this year's YFSF Bring Your Own Slides session. Whether you're a student or a young professional, the BYOS session is an excellent opportunity for you to gain experience in speaking at meetings without all of the pressure of a strict scientific forum. All interested parties are welcomed to speak for approximately 5-10 minutes, using fun visual aids (no boring charts, etc.). The preferred media format is PowerPoint, but overheads and 35 mm slides may also be accommodated. If you are interested, please contact Megan Leggett at Leggett_m@msn.com, or Amy Price at aprice@dfs.state.va.us. It is preferred that you sign up before the Chicago meeting (the sooner the better), but walk-ins may also be accepted at the conference. We look forward to seeing you there! |
