Young Forensic Scientists Forum Newsletter - September 2001

Editor's Notes
by Amy C. Price, BS

As the summer cools down and the leaves begin to turn, the YFSF plunges head first into planning for the 2002 Special Session in Atlanta, GA. This edition of the newsletter contains some information about what is in store for the revamped 2002 session, as well as contact information for getting those BYOS cases together, and questions for the second YFSF Panel Discussion.

The YFSF is happy to also include some wonderful articles written by budding, young forensic scientists, as well as one of the Academy Press essay winners. Do you have a case study, a story, some advice that you can pass on to others? The newsletter is always accepting articles and yours could appear here as well. To submit an article, or to provide feedback on what you would like to see in this newsletter, email aprice@dfs.state.va.us.

Enjoy this issue as you begin plans to travel to the South in February. See you there!
