Call For Resumes in Chicago - September 2002

by Sheila Estacio, BA, and Claire Shepard, MS, Special Session Co-Chairs

Instead of posting your resume on the corkboard at Chicago's meeting and have it lost amongst the hundreds of other canary colored resumes, attend the “Interview and Resume” Workshop after the Special Session.

We would like to thank all of last year's attendees for their comments. Due to an overwhelming demand from attendees, a writing and resume workshop will be held after the completion of the special session from 6:00-7:30 p.m. This workshop will serve as a way for students and young professionals to improve and fine tune their resume writing and interview skills.

It is an opportunity for your resume to be reviewed by peers in the field and staff from human resources and career offices. The workshop is also a chance to set up meetings with potential employers or to have an on-the-spot interview. Representatives from potential employers, such as the DEA, will be on hand to assist you.
