The Connective Tissue Offers Student Award

In the latest issue of the The Connective Tissue (June 1998, Vol. 14, No. 2), Editor Michael Finnegan announced plans to offer an award for forensic anthropology students. Once a year, an award of $100 will be given to students who submit proposals under the following guidelines:
  • Must be specializing in forensic anthropology,
  • Must submit a one-page, double spaced, research proposal, and
  • Must submit a one-half page budget to show how the money will be used.

All proposals are due on April 30 and will be reviewed by a panel selected by Dr. Finnegan. An announcement of the winner will be made in the June issue of The Connective Tissue and the student will be expected to submit a 500-page summary once the work is completed.
