Latent Print Examiner

The Vermont Forensic Laboratory is seeking candidates with experience performing latent print processing and examination. Ideal candidates will have experience testifying as an expert witness and are comfortable with public speaking and communicating complex scientific concepts in a simple to understand manner. For more information about the position:


Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate degree, OR Master's degree AND one (1) year or more professional experience in a forensic laboratory as a qualified latent print examiner, OR Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years or more professional experience in a forensic laboratory as a qualified latent print examiner.

Preferred Qualifications: A major in criminalistics, natural science, physical science, forensic science, criminal justice, police science, industrial technology or closely related field of study is preferred for this position.

Special Requirements: 20/20 vision, either natural or with correction.
