AAFS Anthropology Section Fundraiser Update
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated or pledged to our section awards, reception, and endowment. Our goal for this year was to raise $10,000.00 to begin our section endowment. With the help of 25 cash donations at AAFS, and 27 pledges and the $2500.00 donation match, we were able to raise $13,102.13 in cash and pledges! This is an amazing start to our three-year goal to raise $30,000.00 for the endowment to ensure that our section awards can continue to be offered each year!
There is still time to pledge! Use the QR code below to fill out our Google Form, and we will send directions on how to donate online and ensure that your contribution goes toward either Section Endowment, Section Awards, Section Reception, or all three! No amount is too small, and you can even setup automatic monthly donations if that is easier for you.
On behalf of the entire Anthropology Fundraising Committee and the Anthropology Section Leadership, we extend our sincere thanks to all of those who were able to contribute this year. Please look for more information on fundraising efforts later in the year.
