Abstract Submission Deadline Reminder

The Anthropology Section Program Chairs want to remind everyone the August 1, 2025, deadline for submissions is fast approaching for the AAFS 2026 conference in New Orleans, LA. We encourage the submission of any program proposals (e.g., paper/poster abstracts, workshops, case breaks, deep dives).

The theme for the AAFS 2026 conference is "Back to Basics: The Fundamentals of Forensic Science." AAFS President Joanna Collins' theme reminds us of the need to focus on the ethical application of forensic science disciplines and the practitioners performing this science. As you formulate your papers, please consider these elements.
