BetterHelp Member Benefit
The AAFS recently announced two new benefits for our membership. One of those benefits is access to convenient online therapy. This service is provided by an organization called BetterHelp.
In order for AAFS members to access the secure link, email addresses were provided to BetterHelp. There have been some concerns brought to our attention about sharing emails with a third party. Please review the following statement provided by BetterHelp:
BetterHelp holds the privacy and security of all of our customers in the utmost regard and sets our internal processes accordingly. BetterHelp would never share the email addresses with anyone or at any point, and would only use these email addresses for the sole purpose of extending the Offer to members of the Organization, including periodic reminders about the Offer, until they actually sign-up for the offer and create an account.
