Are you a Publicly Funded Forensic Crime Laboratory?

Source: Kelly Keyes, BS, RTI International

The Bureau of Justice Statistics wants to hear from publicly funded forensic crime laboratories to better understand current workloads, resources, and challenges facing laboratories. As a periodic data collection, the Census of Publicly Funded Forensic Crime Laboratories (CPFFCL) data collection occurred in 2002, 2005, 2009, 2014, and 2020. Please contribute to the 2024 CPFFCL by July 18 to help provide a comprehensive look at forensic services provided by laboratories in the United States. Eligible laboratories should have received a letter and email from RTI International with the CPFFCL survey.

Please contact RTI at bjsforensics@rti.org for more information or with any questions and view the CPFFCL website at https://bjsforensics.org.
