Call for Trustees—Forensic Sciences Foundation

The Forensic Sciences Foundation (FSF) is seeking dedicated and engaged individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees. Trustees play a vital role in guiding the Foundation's mission to advance the forensic sciences through research, education, and public service.

As a Trustee, you will help shape the Foundation's strategic direction, promote its programs, and ensure responsible governance and stewardship of its resources. The FSF is especially interested in candidates who bring diverse perspectives, leadership experience, and a commitment to strengthening the forensic sciences community.

​Eligibility:
Nominees must be current members of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS).

​Trustee responsibilities include:

  • Attending and participating in Board meetings (typically held quarterly)
  • Serving on committees or working groups
  • Supporting fundraising and outreach efforts
  • Acting as an advocate for the Foundation's mission within the forensic science community

​If you are an AAFS member who is passionate about advancing the forensic sciences and wish to contribute your time and expertise, please submit a letter of interest and CV to Kimberly Wrasse at kwrasse@aafs.org by November 3.
