To help us serve you better, please take a moment to log in and update your member information.

  1. Confirm/Update Your Contact Info — Under the "About" tab, update your address, email, phone number, mobile number, etc. Don't forget to update your Mini Contact Profile (purple box) at the top of the page.
  2. Upload a Current CV — Under the "My Documents" tab, upload your CV. This is helpful when AAFS leadership is considering award nominations, committee chairs, or future leadership roles.
  3. Desire to Participate on a Committee — If you are interested in serving on an Academy-wide committee or Section-level committee, review the options under the "Interests" tab. This information is provided to those responsible for each committee's composition annually.
  4. Expert Witness Database — AAFS receives a wide variety of inquiries from television researchers (program and media), attorneys, authors, incarcerated persons, students (high school and college), and the public at large. We look to our esteemed members for assistance in responding to some of the inquiries. If you wish to participate, the Expert Witness Database is an opportunity for you to include your area of expertise that can be shared with those requesting an expert on a specific topic or related field. Inclusion in the database is optional, and information is used for AAFS purposes only. All inquiries come through the Membership Department via email that is then forwarded to the expert for their consideration. No personal information is provided to the individual making the request. If interested, you may add your areas of expertise under the "Interests" tab.
