Seeking "Justice Talks" Submissions

The 2024 AAFS Annual Scientific Conference will add "Justice Talks" to the program. This is something new that President Ken Williams believes is an important addition to the Academy program. Additionally, he is looking to include short submissions as part of the Academy-wide Newsfeed. The intent is to address issues related to the theme of "Justice for All" in areas that may often be overlooked.

The goal is to start discussions and dialog with members across all AAFS disciplines. The Jurisprudence Section has the ability to have a unique perspective within this niche, as we realize that on a societal level, justice is not always equal and there are varying limitations that bump up against justice for multiple stakeholders and participants within the criminal justice system.

We are seeking submissions to include in the Newsfeed that look to address these issues and hopefully spur Academy-wide discussion.

This is a great opportunity for Jurisprudence Section members to bring these issues front and center. Please consider writing a submission that can address these issues. You can send any such submissions to GinnyBarron@gmail.com

We look forward to the section's support in this new endeavor!
