AAFS Silent Auction: Have Something Cool, Quirky, Collectible, or Uniquely Forensic? We Want It!
The Forensic Sciences Foundation (FSF) Annual Silent Auction is returning during the 2027 AAFS Annual Scientific Conference in Orlando, and we need your help filling the auction with items attendees will be excited to bid on!
Each year, the Silent Auction raises funds for the FSF Endowment Fund, helping support research and educational grants that benefit the forensic science community. By donating an item, you can help support the future of the forensic sciences.
What Can You Donate?
Get creative! We're looking for items that are fun, unique, useful, collectible, or uniquely forensic. Ideas include:
- Author-signed books or forensic science publications
- Forensic-themed items or collectibles
- Artwork or handmade items
- Local or regional gift baskets
- University, agency, or organization swag
- Apparel and accessories
- Electronics and tech items
- Restaurant, retail, or experience gift cards
- Sports or entertainment memorabilia
- Experiences or special opportunities
- Anything else you think might spark a bidding war!

Calling All AAFS Sections!
This year, we'd love to see all 12 AAFS Sections represented in the Silent Auction. Sections are encouraged to work together to donate an item, themed basket, or something that represents their discipline, members, or simply their creativity.
Can your Section bring the item everyone wants to take home from Orlando?
Donors will be recognized onsite at the Annual Scientific Conference and in the Academy Newsfeed.
