AAFS 2024 - International Travel Advisory

Each year the AAFS Annual Scientific Conference brings together forensic professionals from across the globe for a week of collaboration, learning, and networking. With preparations underway for the 2024 even in Denver, we are looking forward to once again welcoming our international colleagues to the Mile High City, and want to ensure you are fully able to attend.

Please be aware the U.S. State Department has recently announced a substantial delay in the processing of visas for international travelers who may require one for entry into the United States. Because of this, we encourage our international attendees to check as soon as possible regarding their specific requirements for travel from their country to the U.S., and to make any necessary applications for entry visas as soon as possible. The United States Department of State–Bureau of Consular Services maintains a website that provides information on the visa application process: https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en.html.
