FSF 2026 Emerging Forensic Scientist Award Winners Announced
The 27th Annual Forensic Sciences Foundation (FSF) Emerging Forensic Scientist Award paper competition was hosted in New Orleans, LA. The following presenters were selected as the 2026 winners by the panel of judges:
- Victoria S. Soto, MA, was selected for the presentation, "Operation Identification: Ethnographic Stories Beyond Turning Numbers Into Names"
- Aidan P. Holman, BS, was selected for the presentation, "DyeSPY: Establishing the First Forensic SERS Reference for Hair Dye Colorant Evidence"
Congratulations to the winners! They will both receive expense reimbursement to attend the 79th AAFS Annual Scientific Conference in Orlando, FL.
