National Forensic Science Week, formed in recognition of the important role that proper forensic science plays in the investigation of crimes throughout the nation, is September 18-24, 2022.

To celebrate this important recognition, the Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS) leadership has compiled a virtual issue titled "Role of Forensic Anthropology in Mass Disaster Identification."

In this JFS Virtual Issue, outstanding articles have been selected to illustrate the breadth of the role of forensic anthropology in mass disasters, whether natural or human-made.

The JFS Virtual Issue is available at: Role of Forensic Anthropology in Mass Disaster Identification

The JFS leadership is excited about this new JFS Virtual Issue and to it serving as our contribution to acknowledge and celebrate National Forensic Science Week.
