John Jay College Announces 6th Annual Forensic Science Symposium

Hosting Program: John Jay College Master of Science in Forensic Science Program

  • John Jay College Master of Science in Forensic Science Program is hosting their 6^th Annual Forensic Science Symposium. This year's topic is Forensic Evidence in Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Cases.
  • This is a two-day event consisting of a seminar on Friday and a workshop on Saturday. The seminar is a hybrid event, and the workshop is in-person. The morning session of the seminar will focus on the role of sexual assault nurse examiners in victim examination, evidence collection, and expert testimony. The afternoon session presents the use of emerging forensic technologies. The hands-on workshop on Saturday will demonstrate the use of Alternative Light Sources (ALS) for enhanced documentation of injuries.
