The 2024 AAFS Annual Scientific Conference is just around the corner! The Program Committee has put together an exciting schedule of events that should not be missed. The meeting theme, Justice for All, will be highlighted by our Keynote Speaker Professor Bryan Stevenson, the Executive Director of the Equal Justice Initiative and internationally acclaimed social justice and human rights attorney. The conference will kick-off on Sunday, February 28, with a free screening of Just Mercy, the 2019 film based on Mr. Stevenson's New York Times bestselling book.

The conference offers something for everyone. There will be 23 workshops, offering continuing education opportunities for all forensic science disciplines.  Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about accreditation, new drug analytes, current topics in medicolegal death investigation, and much more.  AAFS workshops are a great way to bolster one's practical knowledge while supporting the terrific educational program of the AAFS.

Be sure to take a good look at the Conference Program page . The AAFS sections have contributed to over 900 oral and poster presentations that will be given during week. After a jam-packed week, the conference will celebrate Friday evening with a "Party on the Peak" gathering. Get your ticket to enjoy the best Apr├Ęs-Ski this side of the slopes. Plan your schedule accordingly, but be sure to give yourself time to visit the beautiful city of Denver and surrounding Colorado. We look forward to seeing you all there!
