AAFS 2023: Call for Papers Now Open!

Abstract submissions for the AAFS 75th Anniversary Conference are now being accepted! The Program Committee for the AAFS 75th Anniversary Conference welcomes all submissions of quality, relevance, and interest to the forensic science community, centering on the ideals behind this year's theme, "Science Works." This theme focuses on content demonstrating how the forensic sciences provide trustworthy, objective data that can be utilized and relied upon by all levels of government, law enforcement, and the public.

This year's process will feature an enhanced system to guide you through submitting your proposal and supporting requirements. We are also pleased to announce new Case Break Presentations, brief oral presentation slots throughout the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. These sessions will feature current case study-style presentations for attendees to sit in on during what would traditionally be unscheduled breakfast, lunch, or dinner times.

The deadline to submit your proposal is August 1. This year's conference will take place February 13-18, 2023, in Orlando, FL.

To learn more about submitting an abstract for review, log in to your AAFS Account and click "Submit an Abstract" from the right-hand navigation, or visit the Abstract Submission Information page for details and helpful instructions. Note: An AAFS website account is required in order to submit an abstract proposal.

For questions or assistance, please reach out to abstracts@aafs.org. For more details on the 75th Anniversary Conference, visit the conference webpage.
