Anonymous Online Survey Study on Forensic Expert Views Seeks Respondents

Source: Maya Moritz, PhD Student, University of Pennsylvania

A team of researchers from the University of Pennsylvania is conducting an online survey study of expert views concerning six different forensic methodologies. The team seeks responses from professionals who utilize, study, or work in forensic sciences, which can include students with experience in the field, scientists, instructors, law enforcement, legal professionals, researchers, or anyone else whose work touches some aspect of forensics. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. Experts are requested to respond until October 15. Responses after this point would still be appreciated, but will not be part of an initial assessment. The goal of the survey is to present the AAFS and forensic sciences community with a glimpse into expert opinions on the reliability and variability of these six methods. The anonymous link can be found here. If you have questions, comments, or need help with any part of the survey, please email Maya Moritz at mamoritz@sas.upenn.edu.
