Call for Abstracts and Moderators
The General Section Program Committee is pleased to announce the official call for abstracts and workshop proposals for the 79th AAFS Annual Scientific Conference! We invite high-quality submissions relevant to the forensic science community under this year's theme: Around the World and Beyond. This year, we are highlighting both global collaboration and the exciting, expanding role of forensic science in space exploration.

Call for Session Moderators
We are also seeking session moderators to help facilitate our scientific sessions (held Thursday and Friday during the conference). There are 32 spots available for those interested in a chance to moderate during the scientific sessions, with openings for 16 moderators and 16 co-moderators. The role requires serving a brief 1.5 to 2-hour block on Thursday, February 18, or Friday, February 19, 2027. Participating in this role can be used to meet promotion criteria for the General Section.
