FEPAC Accepting Accreditation Applications for 2026/27 Consideration
The Forensic Science Education Programs Accreditation Commission (FEPAC) is currently accepting applications for forensic science, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, forensic digital evidence, and crime scene investigation programs for review during the 2026 review cycle.
FEPAC's primary mission is to maintain and enhance the quality of forensic science education through a formal evaluation and accreditation system for college-level academic programs that lead to a baccalaureate or graduate degree.
FEPAC accredits forensic science education programs that lead to a bachelor's or master's degree in forensic science or in a natural or computer science with a forensic science concentration. FEPAC also accredits programs that will lead to a bachelor's degree in crime scene investigation. Eligible programs must have graduated at least two classes prior to application AND be located in a regionally accredited institution of higher education that requires state, province, or equivalent approval.
For additional information on accreditation and detailed FEPAC requirements, please review the FEPAC Accreditation Standards. Detailed accreditation information can be accessed through the FEPAC website. Here you will find the FEPAC Standards, links to download the application forms for undergraduate and graduate programs, FEPAC Policies & Procedures, and other documents that will be helpful in completing your application.
Please forward your questions to Nicole Zevotek FEPAC, Accreditation & Outreach Manager at nzevotek@aafs.org.
Deadline for submission of applications is March 1, 2026.
