I am thrilled to share that the Journal of Forensic Sciences (JFS) has reached an all-time high Impact Factor of 1.9 — a 5.5% increase from last year's 1.8. This milestone underscores the expanding global impact of our research and the steadfast dedication of our multidisciplinary, international editorial board.

We owe this achievement to our Associate Editors, Editorial Board Members, and guest reviewers. Their rigorous peer review is what keeps JFS the premier resource for the forensic science, legal, and regulatory communities worldwide.

As we look to the future, the JFS continues to expand its scope and influence. We welcome your high-quality manuscript submissions across all branches of forensic science.

Please contact JFS Managing Editor Brenda Peat at bpeat@aafs.org with any questions.
