Robert Gaffney Achievement Award Winner!
Congratulations to Associate Member, Carlos Gutierrez, DFS, of the General Section for his winning of the Robert Gaffney Achievement Award! This award is for his oral presentation, "Forensic Reconstruction and Forensic Taphonomy: An Experiment for a High-Profile Case Conducted for the First Time in Chile," given while on site at the 2025 AAFS Conference. This award is given to promote continual professional growth in the forensic sciences and technologies and to encourage new forensic science professionals in their occupational specialties.
Carlos will be recognized for his achievement during the 2026 AAFS Conference at the General Section Business Meeting where he will receive complimentary registration, a crystal award, and a stipend of $250.
