Responsibilities

Bloodstain and chemiluminescent expert needed to consult for long running laboratory research project into behavior of hematophagous (blood-sucking) ectoparasites such as bed bugs.

Expert will advise on how chemiluminescents can be used to track the trail of blood-feeding parasites after their nocturnal blood meal to the hiding place of their colony, and also to identify heme waste product from digested blood, which will invariably be located somewhere only a few feet away in the sleeping quarters of a human host.

Qualifications

Relevant training in bloodstain analysis and the use of chemiluminescence.

Compensation

$50 per hour
