AAFS 2026
Conference Extras
The 2026 conference offers not only top-tier educational content, but a number of ways for you to enjoy New Orleans, connect with fellow attendees, and maximize your experience throughout the week. Check out some of the opportunities offered below to attendees of the AAFS Annual Conference:

Facility Tour
Take a peek inside the world-class facility home to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff Office Crime Lab Tour. Their team is opening the doors to allow AAFS attendees a special look at how they operate to support the region. Limited space will be available and tours will be approximately 2 hours. Transportation to/from the facility will be provided and is the preferred way to arrive and depart the facility.
Special thanks to Laboratory Services Director Elaine Schneida, MS, for partnering with us to offer this special opportunity.
Registration is required, and space is limited. Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to select your preferred tour and time during the registration process once it opens on September 18th.

Pre-Conference Tours
Kick off your conference experience with a taste of New Orleans! We're excited to offer two fun pre-conference tour options that showcase the culture, flavor, and charm of this vibrant city.
