Supervising Coroner Technician
Responsibilities
Under direction, the Supervising Coroner Technician plans, organizes, supervises and coordinates the activities of the lower-level staff in the operations of morgue services, supervises preparation of bodies for autopsies and assists forensic pathologists during autopsies.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Either: One year of full-time paid experience employed by the County of Sacramento in the class of Senior Coroner Technician.
Or: Three years of full-time paid experience in morgue services assisting pathologists with autopsies using a variety of techniques to prepare specimens and/or evidence, one year of which must have been in a supervisory or lead worker capacity.
Or: Three years of full-time paid experience, which includes two years of full-time paid experience assisting pathologists with autopsies using a variety of techniques to prepare specimens and/or evidence, AND one year of full-time paid experience as a supervisor or lead worker in: a science research or surgical laboratory; a mortuary assisting in the preparation of bodies for burial; a medical setting; or similar experience.
Compensation
MONTHLY $5,507.10 - $6,692.04
