AAFS Annual Scientific Conference 2026
The Forensic Nursing Science (FNS) Section Leadership: Amy Carney (Chair); Janean Fossum (Secretary); Joyce Williams (Past Chair); Virginia Lynch (Distinguished Fellow Emeritus); and Jamie Ferrell (Board of Directors Representative) are proud to congratulate and thank FNS Section Program Chair Jessica Voltz and Co-Chair Michelle Patch, for our upcoming scientific program in New Orleans, LA.
In keeping with the focus on the theme chosen by current AAFS President Joanna Collins, Back to Basics: The Fundamentals of Forensic Science, the FNSS Program Committee has come shining through. Planned is a full day and a half of presentations by forensic nurses and a half-day combination of sessions with our Engineering Section partners.
A workshop is planned for Tuesday, February 10, from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm. This half-day workshop, Culture, Control, and Consequences: Addressing Harmful Norms Impacting LBGTQ+ Rights, Women's Autonomy and Gender Based Violence, still has openings.
We look forward to seeing you at our annual assembly in New Orleans on February 9-14, 2026.
