With support from the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS), a new advanced training grant offers two College of American Pathologists (CAP) Junior Members (pathology residents), a $5,000 stipend to support a four-week-away rotation in forensic pathology at a Medical examiner/coroner office of their choice. There is a list of offices that have already offered to participate, but other offices are eligible. This training will take place in 2023; awardee and host site will schedule a mutually agreeable four-week training rotation. The awardee must use the funds in the same year they are bestowed, meaning that the rotation must take place by December 31, 2023.
The deadline for application is December 12, 2022. Please share with any interested pathology residents.
