Virginia A. Lynch Receives Honorary Degree

Congratulations to FNS Section Fellow Virginia A. Lynch, MSN, RN, who has been awarded an honorary degree from Texas A&M University. She was honored on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in recognition of her historic contributions to forensic nursing science and her global leadership in advancing health and justice.

An internationally recognized forensic clinical nurse specialist, Virginia is celebrated for her pioneering work in establishing and shaping the field of forensic nursing. Her efforts have introduced forensic nursing science to health and justice systems across India, and she continues to guide curriculum development, human rights education, and international standards of practice around the world.
